The central midfielder, who played youth football at Charlton Athletic, came through Nottingham
Forest’s academy and signed full professional forms in August 2017.
Having captained the U23 side on a number of occasions, Edser was sent out on loan to Woking, then Port Vale before returning to the Cards for a second loan spell last campaign.
The 21-year-old had been on trial with the club prior to the 20/21 season and made a clear impact, contributing to a number of goals and assists, prompting Danny Searle to make the move for him.
